GANAMAS special school

This school is established to provide schooling to children with different Intellectual challenges like Developmental disorders, ASD(Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s syndrome, ADHD(Attention deficit hyperactivity syndrome), Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Learning difficulties.

We do a detailed analysis of child’s condition along with parent’s inputs to understand the current level of the child before we give admission to a student.

We provide special education, Speech therapy, occupational therapy, sensory Integration, Behaviour modification, Physiotherapy to get betterment in child’s condition.

We train our students to attain ADLs(Activities of daily living)

We engage our students with play activities, games, music and dance, art and craft, yoga and exercises in our daily schooling routine.

We provide daily nutritious food to our students at lunch time.

We take our students to field trips

We celebrate all national and regional festivals in our school premises to educate our students about our country and culture.

Students are also given vocational training for them to attain financial independence.

We keep changing our teaching techniques and methods to motivate students and make learning easier for them.

We also provide parent counselling and training in understanding their child.

We even educate parents about the Government schemes and benefits for their child which will be helpful for them to face the challenge.
